Hey, i’m Alexa! I’m a West Virginia girl who has spent the last few years collecting places, jobs, hobbies, and a lot of random ideas along the way.

I grew up in West Virginia, moved to North Carolina after college, lived in Wilmington and Charlotte, and have now landed in South Texas. Every place I’ve called home has given me something new to love—and, more importantly, something new to draw.

By day, I’m a teacher turned full-time creative, and somewhere along the way, my love for doodling and design turned into Art by Alexa. What started with postcards and a Wilmington coloring book has grown into a collection of artwork, coloring books, apparel, gifts, and other fun things inspired by the places I’ve lived, the things I love, and whatever I happen to be obsessed with at the moment.
